Who we are...

Integrated Industrial Services, Inc (IIS) is Central New York’s largest and most diversified specialty flooring and wall surfacings contractor. Manufacturing and industrial plants dominated Central New York’s business landscape, and IIS provided unique service to those entities by installing surfacings that protected concrete and steel from corrosion, as well as decorative systems to enhance appearance of floors and walls, while at the same time protecting them from wear. Our name, “Integrated Industrial Services,” was indicative of the services we provided to our industrial clients, which amounted to approximately 90% of our customer base.

What we do...

Over the past 10 years, most of our largest clients left the area, causing us to seek out a new customer base, and in some cases, we had to refocus our work-types. Additionally, we had to add to our already large specialty equipment inventory to properly engage in some new areas of installation. Finally, but most important, we spared no expense training and re-training our experienced union personnel and project staff to continue to be able to provide high quality installations, as we compete in a marketplace with both union and open-shop contractors. IIS was and continues to be highly efficient and productive, because of our commitment to use qualified people and up-to-date specialty equipment.

The specialty flooring and wall surfacings business is changeable and fluid. At the same time, basics of preparation, attention to detail, and supervision of work practices remain constant. We stay at the forefront of our industry by our involvement in trade associations, manufacturer seminars and training, union-sponsored training and safety programs, subscribing to numerous trade journals, and attending industry conferences.
